SCREAMTEC exists for one reason: most death whistles sold online are hollow plastic that sounds like a kazoo. We wanted the real thing — the sound that actually makes people jump out of their skin.

The Aztec death whistle produces something close to a human scream. Archaeologists believe the Aztecs used them in ritual and, by some accounts, to terrify enemies before battle. Whatever the history, the effect on a modern human being standing three metres away is unchanged.
